Simply modest

Picture
This is a clay head that I created with all of my effort. It is made from special clay; with this clay you make different forms. So I started by creating the neck and the head; then I made two holes were the eyes go, made the eyes and the eyelids. I created the nose and the mouth, the ears and the hair. Once I let it dry I could start painting with watercolors but only the bigger parts; then when they dry I painted the details.  So this is how it finished after I did all of the process.
I enjoyed making this project because I learned about proportion and I learned how to make faces with clay. Even though I had problems making the face I found it very interesting to see the differences between drawing and elaborating. Making the clay face help me to understand how the shapes of our face are and then transmit it to a small exemplar of a face. I think that it was hard to make it but with patients you learned how to make perfect pieces.

The image of my life

Picture
This could be as simple as a map, but for me it is more than a map; it represents my life by making symbols that really meant something for me. It is elaborated in a special cardboard that makes it easier to paint with watercolors. You could add different textures to the watercolors like if you put salt it sucks the water out and makes a different and unique texture. I also combined color pencil and markers. The symbols in this map once made some effect on my life so I represented on this map.
I think that this project was really interesting because we had to represent our life in symbols in a map.  It was amazing to represent the most important things of our life with symbols.  Even if you don’t know you could represent everything mean full in your life with a little drawing or symbol.  This map was the image of my life and the mean full of it.

Every space has its meaning

Picture
This is a special art that I created; I say it is special because every space and figure has its own meaning. I didn’t think how it would finish but that was the point of this art you draw lines and figures until you fill all of the cardboard. This art is special from many different points; first from its beautiful colors and shapes and second from the different forms to interpret it.  First you draw lines and shapes and then you fill them with colors and effects; we employed what we learn about color shading. It is a master piece of sudden ideas and bright colors.
This project was really enjoyable because you did not know how it was going to finish. Making lines and shapes could then become in a master piece of art; all you need is to have creativity. Once you start making these figures you never stop because it is really interesting to see how you will fill the next shape with a different color. I think that it was easy because you just had to have creativity and draw whatever pops into your head. Everything becomes into art.
